On this occasion and to ring in the new year, here are some sentences using intermediate to advanced vocabulary for talking about the Harry Potter story.

- ACCESSIBLE
The secret passageways of the castle were accessible only to the clique.
- ACCLAIM
Harry pulled out of the first task in the Triwizard Tournament with wide acclaim and applause.
- ACCOMPLICE
Pettigrew was an accomplice in the Potters’ killing, but while he was a knowing accomplice, Snape, it turned out, was unknowing–or at least partially...
